About Yancey

“Life on life’s terms” can be a daunting and overwhelming prospect, even for the strongest among us. We live in a world that is increasingly demanding. More and more, people feel isolated and disconnected. We can become anxious, fearful, lonely, and angry. The good news? People CAN and DO change. We overcome. I’ve worked with countless people who have made positive change and had positive outcomes. I’d be both honored and humbled to work with you. I offer practical interventions to build new skills and hone resilience. I’ll be an empathetic ear, sounding board, teacher, coach, guide, and cofacilitator in your journey. I ultimately believe that human connection is the greatest force to combat the most challenging condition of all- “The Human Condition”.

Yancey Grimes is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who earned a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas.
