About Candice

Candice wants to cheer you on as you lean into the discomfort of
transforming your thoughts, changing your behavior patterns, and creating a life more satisfying. Starting therapy is not easy, but wherever you are on your journey, she wants to meet you there.
Candice is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master
of Arts in Health Psychology with an emphasis in Counseling from Texas State University, and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University. Candice’s experience includes working within the justice system advocating and supporting victims of crime, as well as, supporting and counseling adolescents and families involved in the juvenile justice system.
She also has provided counseling to individuals experiencing homelessness while serving at Caritas.
After receiving her license to practice in 2010, she opened up her private
practice in Round Rock Texas where she has served adolescents, adults,
families and couples. The focus of her practice is supporting clients
through relationship struggles, managing emotions related to depression and anxiety, and finding their way as life transitions from season to season.
Candice is passionate about collaborating with her clients in a
judgment-free space to help them develop more awareness and explore
alternate ways of thinking. She works to meet them where they are and
pulls from her various skills and training to adapt to her clients’ specific
needs. Candice strives to connect with her clients to find hope in the
hopeless together.
Candice accepts BCBS, Aetna, Optum/United Healthcare, and Lyra
insurance plans
