Mandy Ethridge is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology, and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Mandy has been privileged to work in this community for 25 years, with over 10 of those years as a licensed counselor. She has helped people in many different settings. She started her career in public schools providing social and emotional education. She worked with children in the juvenile justice system, and with families navigating trauma at the children’s advocacy center. She also served as an adjunct professor of Psychology at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor for several years.
Mandy finds her purpose in working with adults from all places, faiths, and belief systems. Struggling through life’s challenges is part of humanity but does not need to be a life-long battle. All experiences, no matter how big or small, can have a lasting impact on an individual’s sense of peace and self-worth. Mandy’s approach to the therapeutic process is based on various theoretical models including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and solution focused therapy. Mandy is open, accepting, and encouraging. She provides a shame-free space so that the client is free to examine one’s life openly and honestly. She can help in learning to recognize and challenge old patterns that no longer serve the person you are today.
Mandy has most of her experience in working with people who have experienced sexual trauma. She works with law-enforcement and first responders to deal with problems that arise from secondary trauma. She has personal and professional experience in working with adoptive parents. She has spent most of her life working alongside social services and is now an adoptive mother of two children.
Mandy and her husband married in 1998 and adopted two children in 2018. She and her family enjoy spending their free time with friends and discovering new and interesting places to visit.

Our hope is that we might be a place where each and every person who enters our doors can feel cared for, safe, and important.
