About Lyna

Lyna Zbranek is Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. She has a Master of Clinical Counseling degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2021, also a Bachelor of Science-Psychology Degree from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2018. Lyna plans on training in Trauma Resolution Therapy once her Associate is completed.
Lyna has worked with the student population at the UMHB Counseling & Testing Center, during her internship while working on her Master’s. She also worked with the community in the Community Counseling Center on UMHB campus. She worked with issues related to anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, situational stress, job loss, grief, relationship stress, trauma, and self-harming issues.


Lyna assists individuals in becoming their whole true selves in order to lead their most fulfilling lives, through a humanistic/person-centered approach. She creates a safe judgement-free space for the individual to be able to share their story and struggles, by supporting them unconditionally, in their healing journey.
Lyna enjoys spending her time learning, reading, cooking, and precious time with her family and friends.
